TD-SCDMA Update

- Chinese wireless communication solution provider Telestone recently announced that it has secured 10% of China Mobile's TD-SCDMA network equipment orders. Under the agreement, Telestone will supply China Mobile with TD-SCDMA trunk amplifiers and combiners. Financial details of this agreement were not yet revealed.
- China's Datang Mobile and Mindspeed Technologies, a US-based semiconductor solution provider, announced that they have entered into collaboration for 3G base stations. According to the contract, Datang will integrate Mindspeed's OptiPHY ATM POS (Packet Over Sonet) PHY in its TD-SCDMA base stations.
